this castle was incredible! we did the self guided tour and it took us about 3 1/2 hours. my parents went on the tour with a tour guide and it took them even longer. the crazy thing is that we only got to see a small portion of the castle during that time. the malbork castle is the largest castle in the world by surface area, and the largest brick building in Europe!





sadly, my camera battery died right before we went in so i had to use my iphone to capture the rest of the castle. we loved going on the self guided tour so that we could see everything at our own pace. it was so fun walking around the castle and exploring. i really wish we could have seen more of it! but there was sooo much to see and much of the castle was blocked off for preservation.
