FALL is such a gorgeous time of the year! i can't get over how adorable these photos are. i love my job and i love getting to know different couples and their love stories.

i feel like we've been married longer than a month! we're settled into our apartment and busy bees with school (and possibly being obsessed over the tv series White Collar...) but it has been happiness living with this man of mine. i cannot wait to see our wedding photos (!!!) they're coming in the mail soon...

this weekend i traveled with my professional imaging class to west yellowstone. we stayed at my teacher's cabin in island park and spent saturday in yellowstone. it was so fun getting to know all of my peers and learning from their photography talents along with sharing mine. my teacher had a few seniors meet up with us saturday morning and we practiced shooting senior portraits in different types of lighting. my favorite, of course, is natural lighting. the models were great to work with and so fun! i'm excited to post my favorites on my photography blog and more on facebook (definitely check those out if you're interested in seeing them!)

we were constantly on the go and busy doing fun things but i was exhausted by the end of the day. i missed kevin so much! i loved coming home to my husband anxiously waiting, a clean apartment and lit candles. he's a keeper. 

not really... but we can pretend :) for my professional imaging class, we had to make a movie poster. i got creative and came up with this one. seriously cracks me up! would you watch this movie? (i won't be offended if you say no) haha

i love sleep. whether it's taking power naps during the day or nestling into bed at night, i just love sleeping! because of my fascination of this important and daily thing in our lives, i thought i'd look up random facts about sleep to share with you. many of these i didn't even know! you learn something new everyday, so hopefully by reading this you'll leave a little smarter... because you never know when you need to bust out a random fact about sleeping to impress people. right?

we finally are continuing our abc dates! if you read back on dates A-N, you'd notice we skipped O and P! fear not, i just forgot to write specifically on them. O is when kevin and i drove to Oklahoma at the end of winter semester so i could meet his family! it was a long drive but we had so much fun together. P is what we consider the Proposal date! timing couldn't have been better for those two.

thinking of date ideas was hard for Q. i could not think of anything for the life of me! as i got in the car yesterday, the most brilliant idea came to me. quesadillas! i do love quesadillas. so that's what we did for our Q date tonight... along with lots of homework and watching the BYU football game.

the good: school starts today and i'm so excited to begin my classes- photography, writing for communications, intro to business, etc- all the good stuff.

our apartment is mostly decorated and we've been here for a little over a week! lots of trips to target, walmart and the grocery store. i even used some left over wedding decorations such as the anthropologie mugs and silk flowers to decorate our 2 bedroom apartment. it's starting to feel like home. 

we're loving the married life! i love living with my best friend and our love grows for each other everyday. happy 2 weeks of being married!


the bad: 17 credits this semester (!!!) with some over-night photography field-trips without my husband. i'll miss him by my side, we're inseparable. 

the ugly: may i suggest one thing- never put your iPhone in your back pocket right before you take a trip to the restroom. it certainly gets ugly. and might i add it causes ugliness to your face as you realize it just slipped out of your pocket and landed into that porcelain bowl. i might also add that the ugly look on my face lasted a couple days as i tried to bring life back to that iPhone with a bag of rice and tender loving care.... until i quickly gave up and decided to take it to a better place to get it fixed. i think i was supposed to be taught a lesson this week: patience. #imissinstagram

sorry for being MIA, but we're married (!!!) and we took a mini-moon to a close destination- park city. we stayed our first night at the beautiful and quite fancy Waldorf Astoria. sparkling cider and chocolate dipped strawberries were awaiting our arrival that night (and what a pleasant surprise). the next 3 days we saved our bucks and stayed at the Marriott. we were upgraded to a corner suite (woohoo!) but the next day moved to a different room due to construction right outside our window... no wonder they upgraded us to make us feel special :) but it worked out great because our room had doors straight to the pool and hot tubs.
we had such a fun time together from eating out at new restaurants along with going to the movie theater, walking around main street, visiting the park city and Olympic museums and a trip to the eye doctor... woke up with extremely swollen eyes one morning. not fun! but we had some good laughs :)

now we're moved into our new apartment and slowly making it feel more like home. thank goodness for all those wedding gifts/money! we feel so blessed and i cannot wait to see our wedding photos!
