almost 4 summers ago, i traveled with my dad and sister to Peru with the Southern Cross Humanitarian to serve the natives there. despite a few tragedies (accidentally got my photos from the first 3 days completely erased, and i forgot my personal journal i had since age14 in one of our hotel rooms the last day) i had an amazing experience. i learned to be humble, be grateful for all i have and am blessed with, and most of all to serve God's children no matter where they live in this world. i am forever thankful for such an opportunity.

this video is of El Bichito where we served the children and helped construct the roof of the second story. some of the children i recognize and i can't believe how big they are now! it's amazing how much this little orphanage drop in center has grown and changed and i am so thankful that i can say i was a part of building this wonderful place.
