i was overwhelmed by how many people responded to my facebook status the other day about asking for some models. on friday i did 3 back to back portrait sessions with these three beautiful girls. i wanted to experiment more with window lighting and the second bedroom in our apartment was perfect for that! these ladies did an amazing job- thank you martha, maddy and mary! (they're all M names, what a coincidence.)

i was surprised to get a little package in the mail with more wedding cards and this little homemade gift from my mom! she made this super cute halloween bunting to decorate my non-holiday-looking apartment. i have to say, october is one of my favorite months. want to know why?? because my birthday is in 28 days! and i'll be turning the oh so coveted 2-1. not really that coveted... but i will be one year older and wiser too. :)
