since we were so busy this break and didn't get to take a christmas card photo, i thought i'd just use this photobooth strip from my sister's wedding as our belated new years card. Happy New Years everyone! the third photo down cracks me up... we were just a tad bit late with scoring a kissing photo so now it's the awkward "almost there" photo. just don't stare at it too long...
just like every new year, you make new years resolutions! ...and the next month break them. BUT this year we are making some goals together as a couple to improve our bodies spiritually, physically and mentally. it's been an adjustment period the past few months getting to know each other better, strengthening our friendship and relationship and learning to work as a team. communication is key! it was a blessing having many long roadtrips and a 7 day cruise during the break to spend quality time together. it's so easy to get caught up with school and work during the semester, so it was refreshing having that time to spend with each other with no distractions.
going on a cruise + holiday eating = more added lbs than you want! so we have decided to start a gluten free and sugar free lifestyle change to improve our health. we're excited for this new change by eating healthier and being more aware of what we are putting into our bodies. i would love any recipe suggestions for any of you GF&SF eaters out there! the next thing on our list to buy is a juicer (anyone have any suggestions for a good brand?)
make those goals and let me know what you're planning on improving this winter! because making short term goals are easier to achieve and less daunting :)
